Gaurav has been associated with the Indian equity markets for over 30 years. Gaurav started his professional career in Delhi with Credit Capital Venture Fund, India's first private sector venture capital fund. He has held senior positions as both Fund Manager and Equity Analyst at New Horizon Investments, ING Investment Management India and SG (Asia) Securities India. He holds an MBA (Finance) and Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from Delhi University. He is based in Mumbai, India.
Gaurav has been the principal advisor to India Capital Growth Fund since November 2011.
Saurabh Chugh
Director
Saurabh has been associated with the Indian Equity Markets for over 20 years. He has been part of India Capital Growth Fund advisory team since 2006 and one of the original founders of Saltoro. He holds an MBA in Finance from Nirma Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is based in Mumbai.
Over the years, Saurabh has achieved specialization across sectors including Information Technology, Energy, Capital Goods and Auto & Auto Ancillary.
JAINAM VORA
Analyst
Jainam is the newest addition to the investment team having joined the firm in April 2024. He graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) from NMIMS University, Mumbai in 2021. Prior to joining Saltoro, he has done internships in diverse industries ranging from fertilizers, pharmaceuticals and financial services
Jainam is passionate about understanding businesses. He is high on energy and brings fresh perspective typical of Gen Z.

Sagar Kanal
Vice President Operations
Sagar has over 11 years experience in operations. Prior to transitioning to Saltoro, he was part of the core operations team at Avendus Capital looking after offshore and onshore fund operation. He started his career at Best Alternative Advisory Services (Apex Group) managing the middle and back-office operations for a large UK/US based fund house.
He has done his post-graduation in business management (Finance).
Sagar has been actively managing business operations for Saltoro and providing middle and back- office operations support to River Global Investors.
Shivam Gujarathi
Manager Operations
Shivam has over 7 years of experience in corporate finance and operations. Prior to joining Saltoro, he was with APEX Group, where he assisted corporate finance activities for entities across the globe.
He holds an MBA from VIT Mumbai, and is primarily focused on supporting back-office operations for River Global and Saltoro.
